The Mobile Museum of Tolerance

The Mobile Museum of Tolerance (MMOT) will be at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s campus for a special Holocaust Remembrance program on April 16, from 11 am to 3 pm. This event is organized by the FIT Holocaust Commemoration Committee in partnership with Chabad Jewish Life at FIT.
Throughout the day you may attend:
Witness to History (30 minutes):
A structured session featuring MMOT’s new Witness to History film (10 minutes) and paired testimony from 2 survivors; one from the Holocaust and one from the Rwandan Genocide. This program highlights the power of survivor voices and challenges audiences to confront hatred, indifference, and their shared responsibility to prevent future atrocities.
Open House (30 minutes): This unstructured experience allows you to walk in, learn more about the work of the MMOT, and engage in informal conversations with our team.
Schedule:
- 11–11:30 am: Witness to History
- 11:30 am–noon: Open House
- noon–12:30 pm: Witness to History
- 12:30–1 pm: Open House
