‘From the Rez to the Runway’: Conversation and Book Signing with Christian Allaire

Christian Allaire, senior fashion and style writer at Vogue, will speak about his new memoir, From the Rez to the Runway, in conversation with History of Art professor Natalie Nudell on Wednesday, November 19, at 6 pm in Katie Murphy Amphitheatre.

Growing up on the Nipissing First Nation reserve in Northern Ontario, Allaire wanted to work in the fashion industry, a future that seemed like a remote, and unlikely, dream. He will speak about how he made it a reality, while always remaining true to himself.
