Fashion Culture: ‘Proust’s Duchess’ with Caroline Weber

Author Caroline Weber takes us into the daily lives of three women who were superstars of fin-de-siècle Parisian high society, “paragons of elegance, nobility, and style.” Behind the glamour, they endured loneliness, rigid social rules, and loveless marriages, yet inspired novelist Marcel Proust to heights of literary achievement.
