DESCRIPTION:Twenty-five FIT juniors and seniors who were selected by invitation from programs in the Jay and Patty Baker School of Business and Technology—International Trade and Marketing\, Production Management\, Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing\, Fashion Business Management\, and Home Products Development—will engage in a daylong program related to tariffs in the fashion industry. \nDuring this program\, eight teams of students from both FIT and Rutgers Business School will work together on a case study and make presentations. \nThis event is by invitation only.

As the historian Peter Gay wrote\, “We all speak Freud whether we know it or not.” Certainly fashion designers speak the language of psychoanalysis\, and like analysts\, designers often focus on sexuality and the unconscious.
