SUMMARY:Exhibition: Modeling the Future — Closes
DESCRIPTION:June 13–July 21\, 2019\n(Note: The exhibition was originally scheduled through July 11; it has been extended through July 21.)  \nModeling the Future features the work of Illustration Adjunct Associate Professor Chris Spollen with students\, alumni\, and other faculty members. This exhibition will showcase Spollen’s ingenious robots\, wall-mounted creatures\, bugs\, and flying machines that are made from salvaged materials and will be installed with video stories created by Spollen and his students. The exhibition will also show Spollen’s meticulous and fantastical etchings. \nThis exhibition is free and open to the public.

SUMMARY:The 15th Annual English as a Second Language/Fashion Business Exhibition and Closing Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Attend the 15th annual closing presentations of students earning certificates from Educational Skills and Professional Studies’ English as a Second Language/Fashion Business program. The three-and-a-half-week-long program features English classes each morning\, and students choose from Fashion Promotion\, Fashion Merchandising\, Fashion Design\, or Global Marketing (in partnership with the School of Graduate Studies) in the afternoon. The coursework includes workshops\, tours\, guest speakers\, and more. This year\, there were 89 attendees from 15 different countries. \nAt this event\, see the presentations from these remarkable students and learn more about the program. \nRefreshments will be served after the ceremony. \n10:30–11:30 am\, student project presentations\nSeminar Rooms\, Lower Level of the John E.
