SUMMARY:EAP Meditation Group
DESCRIPTION:Meditation\, in its most basic form\, is merely the act of turning inward. Through experiencing this quiet place inside\, we can discover our wisdom and natural flow. Meditation practice can minimize stress and enhance productivity. In this group\, participants will be guided through the process\, beginning with an opportunity to set an intention (such as equanimity\, forgiveness\, gratitude\, or abundance) and ending with a reflection of the experience. \nNo prior meditation experience is needed\, only curiosity and a willingness to explore the possibilities. \nFacilitated by Jill Lauri\, LCSW\, MBA \n\nWednesday\, April 1\, 10:30–11 am\nWednesday\, May 6\, 10:30–11 am\n\nFor those who are unable to attend the groups\, please feel free to contact the Employee Assistance Program office at (212) 217-5600 or email Daria Best to schedule an individual\, confidential appointment to discuss your concerns.
