I’d Rather Dye with Flowers: Natural Dye Demonstration

Bring your own light colored natural textile (silk, wool, cotton) to learn the unique, free form technique of bundle dyeing using fresh dyestuffs from FIT’s Natural Dye Garden. Student leaders from Full-Cycle Fashion and Associate Professor Ajoy Sarkar of Textile Development and Marketing will host.

This event is part of Fall 2017 Sustainability Awareness Week, which is held throughout campus the week of October 2–6.
