Globally Connected @ FIT: Entering India’s Fragrance Market, from Analysis to Launch

March 24 at 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm

Join us for a presentation that highlights a student project focused on India and global cosmetics and fragrance brand management. A team of Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing students will share what they learned in the course taught by Professor Delphine Horvath and how they applied it to a real-world challenge: expanding a fragrance brand into the Indian market.

The presentation covers a two-part project: first, an in-depth study of India’s market characteristics and potential, and second, the development of a localized strategy to successfully launch a fragrance brand in India. The session also features insights from an industry professional and the FIT librarians who supported the research process.

Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing students:
Meann Ho, Amir Farsi, Elaine Yang, Litzy Hernandez

Speakers:

  • Jodie Kassack, industry professional
  • Helen Lane, FIT Library
  • Naomi Schwer Bricker, FIT Library
  • Delphine Horvath, Associate Professor, Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing
