Designing for Empathy Summit flyer with location information and Exhibition and Experience Design department logoThe School of Graduate Studies and the department of Exhibition and Experience Design invite you to join the Designing for Empathy Summit! This experiential event takes place on October 23 and 24 with many different sessions free to FIT at various times throughout both days. Visit the website for descriptions and times.

This special summit brings together thought leaders, scholars, designers and practitioners in museums and arts organizations from around the world. Participants and the experts leading the presentations and hands-on workshops all infuse empathy into their lives and work environments, and share an awareness that empathy is a necessary practice in today’s complex world.

An initiative of His Holiness the Dali Lama and the Organization of Networks for Empathy (ONE), the Designing for Empathy Summit is in its eighth year.

Find session information and speaker bios on the FIT website.

This event is free for the FIT community; community members who’d like to attend should RSVP to Brenda Cowan.

The conference is also open to the public, but a registration fee is required
