CitySource Manufacturing Expo: Local Supplier Showcase
Did you know that October is Manufacturing Month? It celebrates the industry’s contributions and inspire the next generation of fashion industry innovators.
CitySource was started in 2011 to connect designers and small businesses with local fashion manufacturers in New York City. With the generous support of the Garment District Alliance, FIT’s Center for Continuing and Professional Studies has produced an in-person trade show highlighting these factories and businesses within the Garment District.
Each year, the event brings a wide variety of vendors including pattern and sample makers, production contractors, marking and grading, cutting, printers, pleating, embroidery, dyeing, accessories, trims, fabrics, leather, knitters, and design services. If you are looking for a small supplier or a full production shop, CitySource provides all the resources to make fashion products locally.
