If you have ever heard, “I sold out my inventory but didn’t make a penny,” you already have a clue that costing—setting a price that earns a profit—is an elusive goal. In this session, we will break down what earning a profit looks like, and how to achieve it for a small, growing fashion brand. We will discuss the relationship between sales, expenses and profit, and what needs to be done to ensure that at whatever level of sales, that profit is ensured.

We will also dive into the merits and challenges of wholesale vs. direct-to-consumer selling and costing and provide some key insights in deciding which is best for your brand. No accounting background necessary.
